NH Officer Down
Guess the slowing trend in LODD was shortlived.
RIP.
http://www.9news.com/news/article/26...n-NH-shooting-GREENLAND, N.H. (AP) - New Hampshire Attorney General Mike Delaney says one police officer has been killed and four hurt in a shooting stemming from a drug investigation in the small town of Greenland. He says an armed person and a woman remain in the home where the incident started around 6:30 p.m. Thursday."If anything worthwhile comes of this tragedy, it should be the realization by every citizen that often the only thing that stands between them and losing everything they hold dear... is the man wearing a badge." -- Ronald Reagan, in the wake of the deaths of 4 CHP troopers in the Newhall Incident, 1970

Christ, 8 days from retirement. . . . Sad
Rest In Peace my Brother. May God grant you eternal rest and may He also look over your family and grant them peace now, in their most extreme moment of sorrow.

Prayers to the other officers injured. . . .“Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away”

Rest well Chief Maloney. May the Officers and Detective have speedy and full recoveries from the wounds they suffered this day. I wish the same for the injuries done to their families and the community.
Standoff is over, murder/suicide or double suicide.

Do not war for peace. If you must war, war for justice. For without justice there is no peace. -me

"It's a great life. You risk your skin catching killers and the juries turn them loose so they can come back and shoot at you again. If your honest , your poor your whole life. And , In the end , you wind up dying all alone on some dirty street. For what? For nothing. For a tin star."
Far from being a handicap to command, compassion is the measure of it. For unless one values the lives of his soldiers and is tormented by their ordeals , he is unfit to command.
