Master Trooper J. A. Walker murdered, 3/7/2013
Master Trooper J. A. Walker was killed in the line of duty this afternoon. Master Trooper Walker had served since 1963, according to the initial reports I've seen!

Edit to add/correct:
ODMP reports 40 years of service, and I trust them more than a reporter.

You never know. Dinwiddie County is a very rural, quiet place. It borders the county I used to work for when I lived in VA.
