Keep us updated, SGTDUKE. Too many times we never hear how it all ends up. Did they catch the shooter?

Last I heard, he was out of sugery and talking but still in critical condition. With the help of a few different agencies both suspects were apprehended within hours and a positive ID was made. I will keep everyone posted.

Thanks for the update. I will keep him in my prayers and pray that he has a quick, full recovery.

A Smile
A smile cost nothing, but gives so much.
It enriches those who receive it,without making poorer those who give.It takes but a moment, but the memoryof it sometimes lasts forever.
None is so rich or mighty that hecan get along without it,and none is so poor but thathe can be made rich by it.
A smile creates happiness in the home, fosters goodwill in business, and is the countersign of friendship.
It brings rest to the weary, cheer to the discouraged, sunshine to the sad,and it is nature's best antidote for trouble.
Yet it cannot be bought, begged, borrowed,or stolen, for it is something that is of novalue to anyone until it is given away.
Some people are too tired to give you a smile.Give them one of yours, as none needs a smileso much as he who has no more to give.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the officer. May God Bless bless him and watch over him for a speedy recovery. Please let his family know that a Louisiana family is praying for them, too.

UPDATE...The officer is still in intensive care but I heard a rumor that he might have felt some pain in his legs. It is unknown if it was real pain or phantom pains. Anyway the following are a couple of websites created to track his progress and provide any help you can.

My thoughts and prayers are with him, his family and friends. It's a constant reminder that every single traffic stop we make can be fatal so we all better stay on our toes. I pray for his recovery not only physically but emotionally too.

That's terrible. I pray he makes a full recovery. And the asshole that shot him burns in hell.
