Subject: NORFOLK POLICE OFFICER KILLED IN THE LINE OF DUTY...
Body: FUNERAL THIS FRIDAY FOR NORFOLK POLICE OFFICER WHO WAS KILLED BY ANOTHER POLICE OFFICER MONDAY....
THE SHOOTING IS VERY DIFFICULT TO UNDERSTAND, THE OFFICER SHOT WAS IN PLAIN CLOTHES, ON AN INVESTIGATION UNDERCOVER, A K-9 OFFICER DID NOT RECOGNIZE THE PLAIN CLOTHES'D OFFICER. HE WAS SHOT AND KILLED.. THIS HAS AFFECTED EVERYONE, I FEEL FOR THE FAMILY OF THE OFFICER WHO WAS SHOT WHO HAD CONCERNS ABOUT BEING IN PLAIN CLOTHES, AND THE K-9 OFFICER... PLEASE PASS THIS ON SO EVERYONE CAN SHARE PRAYERS FOR EVERYONE INVOLVED....

My prayers and heart go out to all involved. Working in a large department where I don't know everyone, I can see where this could happen. It's gut wrenching.

Of course prayers go out to the family of the slain officer, and especially for the officer who shot. Although evidently unintentional, something he will live with the rest of his life.
