All my prayers to our lost brother and his family

I do think it's sad that the department doesn't give him the same type of funeral as if he were killed in the line of duty. What are the rest of you alls feelings about it? How he died to me is irrelevant, he served his department by putting his life on the line every day. Just my thoughts
I decided to start a new thread on this subject because I would really like to hear what everyone has to say. Maybe they do things different in other cities, states, etc?Last edited by AGalCop; 07-20-06 at 12:54 AM.

07-20-06, 12:50 AM #23i agree with you. We lost someone in our dept last year in an off-duty motocycle accident. Great guy and detective. we gave him the same funeral as if he was killed in the line of duty.
