Deputy Jailer EOW 08/29/2006

Early this morning, Corporal Mike Roberts of the Colquitt County (Ga) Sheriffs Office was found dead in his home of natural causes. Actual cause of death is undetermined at this time but its believed that he had a heart attack. He is survived by his parents. He had been with the Sheriffs Office since 1998 and was in his 40's.

Mike was always cheerful to be around. As long as I'd known him, I can't ever remember seeing him in a bad mood. He will be missed.

Thanks guys. I'll actually be working during the funeral but will be able to get there for the wake. And hopefully it will work out to where I can get into the procession.
