Memphis Police Officer Found Dead in Car Trunk

Police in Memphis said a fellow missing police officer was found dead in the trunk of his car.

The Lexus belonging to Officer Tony Hayes was found Thursday night in an apartment complex parking lot.

Investigators said Hayes had been shot to death.

Police have taken two suspects into custody.

Police said one of the suspects is a 37-year-old female deputy jailer with the Shelby County Sheriff's department and the other is a male teenager.

So far no charges have been filed.

RIP. Sorry to hear about this, all you Memphis guys!
