Virginia Officer Down
Powhatan Deputy killed in overnight car crash

A Powhatan County Sheriff's Deputy was killed in a car crash overnight. We’re told that Robert Green, a seven year veteran of the department, died after he crashed while heading to join a pursuit off Red Lane Road.
State police are trying to reconstruct the accident right now.
Green is survived by a wife and three year old son.

Damn, folks we need to be careful. We do no one any good if we don't make it to back up our other officers.
