By his own hand

On wednesday night i saw my partner of eight years dead in his car. He retired last year. Throughout my career,this is the 7th NYPD officer that i knew personally that ended thier lives. This one really hit me hard, I cant stop the tears. He was very depressed over a divorce he was going through as well as other problems he was facing.He was such a great guy, always helpful and always joking around. I spoke to him very often during the past 7 months while he was going through this ordeal whether it was at 3pm or 3am i always answered my phone when i knew it was him..Getting him help didnt seen to work, although he did try. I will never forget what i saw that night. I have much more to say about this incident but am to upset to go on tonight....Please say a prayer for him and his kids

Oh my gosh how awful :( I am so sorry he left in this manner. May time heal your sorrow......and give strength to his children he left behind.
