Good Deed

A travel agent looked up from his desk to see an old lady and an old gentleman peering in the window at his posters showing exotic destinations across the world.


The agent had a good sales week and the tired old couple looking in the window gave him a rare feeling of generosity.

He invited them into his office.

"I know that on your pension you two could never hope to have a real holiday, so I am sending you off to a fabulous resort at my expense, and I won't take no for an answer!"

He arranged for his secretary to write two flight tickets and book them a luxury room in a five-star hotel.

They gladly accepted, thanked the agent profusely and were off!

About a month later the little old lady walked smiling into his office.

"SO, how did you like your holiday?," he asked eagerly.

"The flight was wonderful, the room was lovely, and the country beautiful," she said, "I've come to thank you again,"

"But, one thing puzzled me....
Who was the old guy I had to share my room with???"
