Shipwreck
A man was washed up on a beach after a terrible shipwreck. Only a sheep
and a sheepdog were washed up with him. After looking around, he
realized that they were stranded on a deserted island.
After being there a while, he got into the habit of taking his two animal
companions to the beach every evening to watch the sun set.
One particular evening, the sky was a fiery red with beautiful cirrus
clouds, the breeze was warm and gentle - a perfect night for romance.
As they sat there, the sheep started looking better and better to the
lonely man. Soon, he leaned over to the sheep and put his arm around it.
But the sheepdog, ever protective of the sheep, growled fiercely until
the man took his arm from around the sheep.
After that, the three of them continued to enjoy the sunsets together, but
there was no more cuddling.
A few weeks passed by and, lo and behold, there was another shipwreck.
The only survivor was Hillary Clinton.
That evening, the man introduced Hillary to the evening beach ritual. It
was another beautiful evening - red sky, cirrus clouds, a warm and gentle
breeze -- perfect for a night of romance. Pretty soon, the man started to
get "those feelings" again..
He fought the urges as long as he could, but he finally gave in and
leaned over to Hillary cautiously and whispered in her ear...
"Would you mind taking the dog for a walk?"

There are gains for all our losses
There are balms for all our pain

It takes something from our hearts
And it never comes again

The man who will go where his colors go, without asking who will fight a phantom foe in the jungle and mountain range, without counting, and who will suffer and die in the midst of incredible hardship, without complaint, is still what he has always been, from Imperial Rome to sceptered Britain to democratic America. He is the stuff of which legions are made. ...His pride is in his colors and his regiment, his training hard and thorough and coldly realistic, to fit him for what he must face...and his obedience is to his orders. He has been called United State Marine.

Is that a subtle way of saying Hilary is a dog in her own right?

Speaking of Hillary and dogs, when Bill was in the Whitehouse, Hillary went out one day and there was a little girl with a sign that said "Free Puppies!" Hillary, sensing a photo-op, stopped and asked the little girl about them. "They are a week old," said the little girl, "and you know what, Mrs. Clinton? They are Democrat puppies!"
About a week later, Bill and Hillary were both in front of the Whitehouse and they saw the little girl again, still advertising "Free Puppies!" Hillary took Bill over and showed him the little balls of fur. "Aren't they cute?" she asked Bill, "and guess what? They are Democrat puppies!" "Oh no," said the little girl, "These puppies are Republican Puppies!" "I though they were Democrats?" asked Hillary. "They were," the little girl explained, "but now their eyes are open!"For the morning will come. Brightly will it shine on the brave and true, kindly upon all who suffer for the cause, glorious upon the tombs of heroes. Thus will shine the dawn.

I took it to mean that the guy would rather have sex with the sheep than with Hillary.
