The Name Game
I was going through my blog this evening and found this. I thought it might be interesting. I found a few other things too that were fun, but I'll start with this:
The Name Game
1. What are your siblings' names? Are your names related by a theme?
2. What are your pets' names?
3. Do you give pet/nick names to your car (or other large possessions)?
4. What meaning does your surname have?
5. If you could name your own country or island, what would you call it?
And my answers:
1. Joe, Mike and Steve, and there's no theme relation to the names.
2. Lillian, Charlie, Trisket and Yoji
3. I didn't have a nick name for my car or anything else that wasn't breathing, but since I've had to put out so much money for this car since the accident, I just call it my POS!
4. My last name (maiden) means "A trade name given to one skilled in the ancient craft of weaving."
5. The Sultry Islands; Krimpet Cove, Hot Sands @ Sugar & Spice Islands

We dallied under
Vine maples and sapling alders
Searched for lady slippers
But instead
Found blackberry riots and
Desiccated branches
An old skid road
Brought ghost ferns and
Hollows filled with
Skunk cabbage
While waves wrapped
Intricate lacings of weeds
'Round mule spinners
His cyanotic eyes
Were hard enough to make
The sun turn tail and
Tender enough to attract me
To his world of illusion
