Ben and Jerry's Says Thanks, But No Thanks

PETA's request for Ben and Jerry's to switch to breast milk for their ice cream was politely declined, despite PETA supporter Pam Anderson's offer to be a supplier.

Per a Ben and Jerry's spokesperson, "our ice cream is all natural, with no artificial ingredients."

I agree, not very appetizing! It may have wonderful health benefits for babies but I am not sure if that carries on for adults or even if it is processed in any way. So lets keep it for Baby consumption only!

Aren't Ben & Jerry's the ice cream company who somehow provided money to help name a street after a convicted cop killer? Anybody know or remember anything about this?

Ben Cohen signed a petition in support of Mumia Abu Jamal. Since then Ben and Jerry sold the business to a large company and are no longer personally involved with it. If you go on their website the FAQ states that.

Looks Good, we mostly get Schwan's Ice Cream. Though if we see a good deal on some Crystal or Foster Farms at the store, we grab it on occasion.

Haven't bought Ben and Jerry's for a long time now. I do like quite a few of their flavors, but they aren't the only ones who can make good tasting ice cream!

I believe the officer in question was www.danielfaulkner.com . As far as Ben Cohen's actions on the matter of supporting Mumia Abu-Jamal, they can go to hell together. And yet Philly is still a war-zone judging from the violent EOW's they have suffered lately. I hate and despise gangs.

I can't fault the new owners of Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream except to the fact that maybe they need to change the name of their company to get rid of this stigma that is following them. Otherwise they will continue to lose business.

Unless they had a hand in it, too.

I've even gotten my girlfriend and mother to stop buying Ben & Jerry's because of that whole issue. I refuse to support or let others close to me support any company that helps cop killers or is anti-law enforcement...

You have any plasma centers in your area? There's always a line of scrotes outside waiting to go in and "donate" for cash. I pray I never need plasma. I can just imagine all the crack whores lining up to donate breast milk to get the cash they need for their next fix. No thanks.
