A Honest Candidate
Spoof on campaign ads. If he was actually running, he'd probably win.

Truth in advertising
Now if a real candidate was that honest would you be more or less likely to vote for him? Reckon I'd still be suspicious and figure he was trying to hide something else.
I ran across some vids done by a couple guys who go around the country making bad local commercials to put all other bad local commercials to shame: strangely enough some of the businesses actually run the spots they produce. Candidate video reminded me of this one, not quite the same style, fun all the same.

What about Alvin S Greene of SC. He paid his fees to run in the primaries. Not a word was heard from him until he took 60% of the votes. His words during post-election interviews basically amounted to "Eh?"

"It's a great life. You risk your skin catching killers and the juries turn them loose so they can come back and shoot at you again. If your honest , your poor your whole life. And , In the end , you wind up dying all alone on some dirty street. For what? For nothing. For a tin star."
Far from being a handicap to command, compassion is the measure of it. For unless one values the lives of his soldiers and is tormented by their ordeals , he is unfit to command.
