Police Response

[Honeypot]

A guy calls the police and says that two men are breaking into his garage now.

The police operator says, “I’m sorry Sir, we have no units available to send.”

Ten minutes pass and the same guy calls the police again and says, “Cancel sending any officers to my address. I have just shot dead the two men who were breaking into my garage.” Without waiting for a response, he puts the phone down.

Three minutes later four police cars, sirens blaring, screech to a halt outside the guy’s address and several officers climb out. Seeing no sign of any dead bodies, one of the officers yells to the guy, standing by his front door, “I thought you said you had shot two men dead?!”

The guy calmly says, “I thought you said you didn’t have any units available to send?”
