World's pretty peaceful. Earthquake now and then, but nothing like the old days. Inhabitants though..

67,605 - Cidp24's high score isn't in peril.

Strategy I found worked best is to deploy planes first. Hit the quadrants with them, bonus planes/bombs/guided torpedoes often turn up early. Ignore them for now. Once you lose the aircraft carrier you lose the planes, so use them up first.

Don't follow up on hits from the planes right away. Now you know where those ships are, when you run out of planes, explore open patches with the bombs. Clean up known ships last. Tried going with the most efficient grid pattern at first and found using the bonuses worked better for me.

Our strategies are very, very similar. I don't always deploy the planes immediately, but once my aircraft carrier suffers the first hit, the planes go out to the quadrants.

I'd like to know how Cidp24 got that high score!!

Sheer luck. I used that same strategy and when I got the high score, it seemed like every time I clicked the mouse I got more planes and bombs. They raise your score when you get them.
