Should Children Witness Child Birth?
Due to a power outage only one paramedic responded to the call.
The house was very, very dark, so the paramedic asked little Kathleen, a 3-year-old girl to hold a flashlight high over her mommy so he could see while he helped deliver the baby. Very dligently, Kathleen did as she was asked.
Heidi pushed and pushed, and after a little while Conner was born.
The paramedic lifted him up by his feet and spanked him on bottom. Conner began to cry.
The paramedic then thanked little Kathleen for her help and asked the wide-eyed-3-year old what she thought about what she had just witnessed.
Kathleen quickly responded, "He shouldn't have crawled in there in the first place.......smack his ass again!"

And in response to your thread title, based on my experience, training, and personal observations, NO ONE should witness childbirth....ever. yech.

I'm glad I can't remember being born. Ick.Thereís a promise I need you to make
While Iím gone you take care of the love
And Iíll deal with the hate.
Donít worry about me; Iíll be all right
Just care for your children and sleep tight
Iíll keep you safe on my watch tonight
