Cannot get into the chat room

The screen goes cobalt blue and says "Invalid user name or password" when I try to enter the chat room. Wassup?

check to see if you have the latest java installed

Installed. Still not working. Will check with the wife/computer expert in the morning. Thanks for the help.

nitestoker, I had the same problem earlier. I noticed there was a little chat icon in my Windows tray. As soon as I right clicked and closed it, then went back and clicked chat room (float), I was able to get in.
Took several seconds to load, but now is all fine.

Just an idea.

Still can't get in. Tried everything. Maybe some hacker like Ducky is deliberately blocking me. That's okay, I didn't want to talk to you jackasses anyway.

Try installing the newest version of internet explorer: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/default.mspx

Or try installing the newest version of firefox:
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/

Is there any way around it? I have old java installed, and can't install anything on this stupid work computer...

Don't feel bad, I never have been to connect. Always get the same message "error connecting to server, try again later" Just figured it was the security in the firewall we use here.
