Hot Seat
There is a forum that I recently discovered (civie forum) that has a section called the Hot Seat it is pretty kewl, very fun and a neat way to get to know eachother.
It goes like this:
If you want to participate you start a thread indicating so ...
Starting a thread in this forum invites people to ask questions about you and your life.
It is not a general discussion forum, it is a forum where people can get to know the thread starter a little better.
The questions you get asked could be be about anything at all ... How you answer them is entirely up to you.
If you get fed up of being quizzed then you can delete the thread at any time. (not sure if this would be an option available here?)
Non-members cannot see any of this forum must have a min post count of 15 to participate and view.
Just a thought, if LEF and its members would be interested
Thoughts anyone? Poll?
If anyone is interested in the site let me know and I'll provide a link.Last edited by carolina; 01-23-07 at 12:46 AM.
Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around. - Leo Buscaglia

Hmm.... depends on your definition of "fun".
I've been subjected to a few of these. Except they weren't voluntary.

That is not exactly what the thread looked like, nor my definition of fun, LOL
I agree you were subjected to others opinions of you, based on chat or thread discussions rather than being asked questions and receiving "your" responses to those questions asked.
I will admit there were a few questions asked that were rather personal
but ... you can always plead the fifth or answer in a pm
and you get to volunteer to put your self in the hot seat rather than being put there involuntary ....
Wonders if Term will do that to Carolina one day
I'd be terrified ... That was right up there with smiley persecution.
hmmmm.... maybe I should re-think this idea .... you guys are versed in interrogation
