    Rep question...

    Is there a way to turn off the rep? I looked everywhere in the User CP and didn't see an option for it.

    Can we elect to not have it at all?

    No there is no way to cut it off..

    We wanted everyone to either have it or not have it

    I asked about it not long ago and never got a 100% answer. The tentative answer was that it was thought that it was a supporting member option only, but that was never confirmed.

    I can turn my rep on or off. In other words, I can elect to show it or not, but I think people would still be able to rep me. It just wouldn't be visible to everyone if I turned it off.

    Yes that was possible for Supporting members not by design but by mistake, it was corrected a while back. Now everyone has rep and can not turn it off

    Must have been corrected within the last hour and a half, as I saw that option in my User CP when I posted my first reply in this thread. Now it's gone.

    It was an Administrative decision. We have the capability to do that and more. We do what we think is best for everyone and the site.
