Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around. - Leo Buscaglia

How about this...let's adopt our own personal mod to torment. I have two in mind but I can't decide which one. In my case maybe I should have two seeing as I have so many problems.

And Shepards we shall be,
for thee, My Lord, for thee,
Power hath descended forth from Thy hand,
That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy Command.
So we shall flow a river forth to Thee
And teeming with souls will it ever be.

With the voicechat, I might can be persuaded to hook up a pair of headphones to the laptop and talk from the unit. It'd be like a live version of Cops

Tell me not, Sweet, I am unkind,

To war and arms I fly. - Lovelace

You should be because if we can't make up our minds it's both.
On the one hand, Conalabu has a care bear collection.
yeah, but he also made you blush
True. But he's always in chat and seems kinda lonely. Now beans on the other hand, he's close by.
tough choice
Of course I do have extra PMs that I need to fill up, up to 100.
wow that's a lot send them both pm's and see who responds first
Maybe I will. Thanks for the idea.

LEF $ idea for the promotional budget. Amazon.com affiliate click-through link. 4-10% of the order total, and there's currently a nice blank spot in the "Vendors and Friends" box. The first $10 each six months goes towards me earning a supporting member tag
Or not.

Still trying to think of other suggestions.

Small idea here. How about opening up the "Trading Section"? Just in the past few days there have been a few mentions of the video game "Call of Duty". Why not broaden the group so things such as old versions of it and other things of mutual interest to LEF members may be traded? (or given away)
Make it registered user view only if trading picks up with more general rather than LE related items? Hard to say how it might change with more activity.
Just a thought.

I'll donate my ventrilo channel to be used in the chat channel. I own one and it's not used that much. When I get home I'll post the info in a new thread!
Just because your sign off after you're shift is done, doesn't mean that it's over and put blinders on. You're a cop 24/7 wether you like it or not. If thats something you can't handle, you should find a new line of work!

Can we use our own library of smilies in addition to the ones available on this site? I found some information on this topic.
http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=135336
A Smile
A smile cost nothing, but gives so much.
It enriches those who receive it,without making poorer those who give.It takes but a moment, but the memoryof it sometimes lasts forever.
None is so rich or mighty that hecan get along without it,and none is so poor but thathe can be made rich by it.
A smile creates happiness in the home, fosters goodwill in business, and is the countersign of friendship.
It brings rest to the weary, cheer to the discouraged, sunshine to the sad,and it is nature's best antidote for trouble.
Yet it cannot be bought, begged, borrowed,or stolen, for it is something that is of novalue to anyone until it is given away.
Some people are too tired to give you a smile.Give them one of yours, as none needs a smileso much as he who has no more to give.
