Well, this entire site isn't really kid friendly. I don't think adding a troll section would hurt things in that respect. Besides, what kid young enough to be "damaged" by that is going to be interested in a law enforcement forum anyway? Andthe older ones who might be, well, I'm sure they've heard it all before, seen it, hell, probably done it and then gone home and kissed their mothers. So, I mean, hey, it's all in good fun. I see your point, and I'm not trying to say it isn't valid but this site isn't really a kid-glove site anyway.

What kids are looking at onsite is rarely police sites. Compared to what they are viewing, this site is like disneyland. If you do allow your kid to view, then view it with them as you would tv, movies etc if you feel concerned.

I agree and I have two young kids. It's the parents job to monitor what their kids view, besides if they're old enough to read profanity and detailed posts they're probably more interested in surfing for cyber porn.

Here is the deal, your the parent you take charge of what your kid reads and doesn't read. Its not my job nor anyone elses job on this site to not speak our minds because the kids may see. There is posts about possible profanity in several places on this board in the non-verified area. You have to understand that sometimes as a cop there are just no other ways to say something without putting in the "cuss" words. They show feeling, meaning and they get the point across very well.

So before you go off on us about our language and the way we handle things you might want to take a step back and think about what we do for a living.

They have a process for verifying LEO's, why can't they develop a process for verifying trolls?

You could also make them "sign" an agreement that as Trolls they are subject to ridicule, contempt, post deletion(s) and banishment solely at the whim of the Mods (although banning them would defeat the whole purpose ).

All their messages will be posted under (re routed to) the Trolls Unlimited & Retarded Diatribes section aka the TURD section.
