I wonder how many people use that thing. Only time I look at it is to see if there is a fix for the scroll speed.
Do you use LEF Radio? How often?
I have absolutely no clue how all this website, html stuff works but can you use places such as
http://www.loudfusion.com/mp3_players.php?player=7
I use the LEF Radio all of the time when I get to the office to check paperwork it is the first thing I turn on. I can't stand to sit in a room with no sound.
I use LEF Radio a lot, however I don't always get the tunes I'm after, that damned scroll is worse than some of those arcade games, which keep beating me too! :o:D
It's been used almost 67,000 times since it's inception. Considering we didn't have LEF Radio when we first started, and we've been up and running a year and 8 months, I'd say that's a pretty damn good number.
Seems like everyone but you is listening to it, so the question should be why aren't YOU listening to it?
I just now turned it on for the first time lol
I used to listen to it, then my brother-in-law screwed up the sound. So now I jam out in my head, sing the words to the songs I know, make up words for the ones I don't.
I usually have the TV on, so I don't listen to it much. But when I get on the old computer in the other room, I do use it because I can't stand a quiet room either.
Needs some history and tech podcasts :biggrin1:
I was actually pretty curious how popular it is, and somewhat to my surprise it does seem to have a popular userbase.
The podcast bit is a joke of course, though I wonder if there is interest in longer form programming? (Once the new player overcomes the scroll problem and especially if it allows other features) Full albums for example?
How about some OTR (old time radio)? I would love to get a group together to listen to the Mercury Theater's adaption of the War of the Worlds on Halloween. The audio quality on many items from that day is pretty poor, but some is really quite good and I have quite a bit if there's any interest.
LEF radio doesn't seem to be operational for me. Is this due to the move, trying to get the new player, or is it on my end?
I use it alot. When you get the new MP3 software try to see if they can put music in categories, like rock, 80's, 90's, hip-hop etc so we can find the category we like.
Just a suggestion and my .02 cents.
I love the LEF Radio. Great feature. It is currently not operational for me either. Makes for longer nights at work when theres no tunes :(
We have the radio shut off until we get the new one installed. There was no sense in moving it to the new server when we are just going to rplace it!
