Since it reads like this... "Invisible mode allows you to browse the forums without appearing in the 'Currently Active Users' lists."..I thought any member using the invisible mode would have his or her dot blank/invisible at all times, whether on or off line.

The light is an online indicator - and if you are logged in as invisible it shows red - just like it would show if you were logged off.
