Error Message
Will or Brad
Just so you know I received the following error message today. I think it also said Error 503.
I was adding to the reputation of another member. It occured when I hit submit. I hit the back button and the Rep comment was still there. I waited for several seconds and then re-submitted again. The rep went through.
I wasn't sure if anyone had received the same error message or not. So I thought I would put this here in case someone else did.
Service Temporarily Unavailable
The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.

No problem, you weren't holding your mouth right when you hit submit. You need to put on a big smile when you do rep.

Here's your explanation:
Server Error 5xx
Response status codes beginning with the digit "5" indicate cases in which the server is aware that it has erred or is incapable of performing the request.
503 Service Unavailable
The server is currently unable to handle the request due to a temporary overloading or maintenance of the server. The implication is that this is a temporary condition which will be alleviated after some delay."Look, just give me some inner peace or I'll mop the floor with you!"
