Invalid Username in Chat?

I've tried getting into chat tonight and I keep getting "Invalid User Name or Password." Help!

Try logging out, clearing your cookies/cache, and then logging back in.

I just did and I'm still getting the same message. I even switched over to IE and tried, I got the same thing.

Try logging in to both the full page chat room and the chat room (float). Also try this from the main page.

If that doesn't work, I'll have to notify Dave.

Thanks - I tried, I keep getting the same thing. Initially the message says "Success," but then I get the "Authenticating," followed by "Invalid name or password."

It's been doing that for me too. I've tried it on at least 2 different computers as well.

I've been getting the same thing for months, and tried everything including sending Dave a message, but I still can't get in to chat.

Not sure what's up. I'm in.

I hate to be a pest, but has anyone figured out a solution? :o

I am racking my brain with this. I can not see why you don't have access. I will break our RULE of 1 username for you. We will let you make a name buttercup2 which will only be allowed to be used in chat.
I am putting in a support ticket for you, but you can go ahead and make buttercup2 if you wish

Has a solution been found for the invalid name in chat yet? I'm still having this problem. :(

we know what the problem is but we are having trouble fixing it.
