Attaboy to site owners...
I just wanted to say as a member of other firearm and another police site, this is by far the best detailed, turbocharged site I've seen. I'm not a computer wiz by any means and it has taken me more than a few screw ups to get my page correct. Some of the 'click on' stuff is totally foreign to me.
Can you tell I'm old school? But, the extra information from articles to video games, etc., is a welcomed addition. It also appears, most users are police officers and not wannabe's or trolls hacking into posts to stir up trouble within the ranks. If this truly is a cop forum for cops, with cops, I'll remain a member and try to share my experiences (and learn as well) with the young officers. When I receive my LEO verification I'll post in the Introduce Yourself section. Thanks again guys for the hard work it takes setting up such a site. Stay safe!
As today's police officers you are not unlike your counterparts of years past. You are an elite group of select members, a brotherhood of highly trained professionals, who are called upon to protect your community in a time of need. Guardians for safety. Being a police officer is not for the faint of heart. You must be honest, trustworthy and fearless in the face of evil. You are being watched everyday. Represent yourself, your department and the shield, for it should always be the embodiment of all that is good and justly. You are the thin blue line. Be proud, be tough and be safe.

This is indeed an awesome site. The owners and site staff are very active and quick about dealing with problems, and they're always improving the site in response to suggestions. Glad you like it here! Hope to hear more from you in the future!

Welcome aboard.

I second that. All of us here from the owners, to the staff to the members help make this the best LEO site on the net. We are owned and operated by Police Officers not some Corporation. As I told you in the email if you need anything just ask and someone will be able to help you.
As an old fart I look forward to what you will bring to the forums. Also if you are a writer we are always looking for original content for our front page articles. If you are interested in writing for the site let me know.
Welcome to O/R

Hello and welcome aboard from Louisiana.

"It's a great life. You risk your skin catching killers and the juries turn them loose so they can come back and shoot at you again. If your honest , your poor your whole life. And , In the end , you wind up dying all alone on some dirty street. For what? For nothing. For a tin star."
Far from being a handicap to command, compassion is the measure of it. For unless one values the lives of his soldiers and is tormented by their ordeals , he is unfit to command.
