New titles for site members.....
We have scrapped the whole member, junior member, senior member thing, and gone with something more police related.
The following adjustments have been made to site titles:
Rookie- Less than 50 posts
Officer First Class- Minimum of 50 posts
Master Officer- Minimum of 200 posts
Corporal- Minimum of 500 posts
Sergeant- Minimum of 1500 posts
Lieutenant- Minimum of 2000 posts
Captain- Minimum of 2500 posts
Major- Minimum of 3000 posts
If anyone has any suggestions to adding in any ranks, or adjusting the number of posts to reach a certain rank, post it here, and let us know.

Whilst I agree that a rank structure is required...
I'm a big fan of quality rather than quantity...
(yeah, I should practise what I preach...I know..)
So perhaps the reputation votes should be used as well as just number of posts..or instead of..'The world is a dangerous place, not because of those who do evil,
but because of those who look on and do nothing.'

In theory, I like your rep idea, but realistically, I think going by rep points would create too many problems. Maybe we can look into a minimum rep amount before reaching a certain rank?Last edited by Terminator; 04-17-06 at 01:02 PM.

Yeah really, it's sad when someone sends you a PM with nothing of substance other than a request that you rep them... it's like they get a prize or something for having the most.

It was just a suggestion.
For me personally..(and I might be wrong in saying this)..but I only really feel comfortable with fellow LEOs on here..
I'm not too happy in the public sections...
Perhaps i'm a cop's cop....'The world is a dangerous place, not because of those who do evil,
but because of those who look on and do nothing.'

04-17-06, 08:08 PM #20This from the guy who has posted in the past that he really only feels truly comfortable and primarily hangs out with LEOs and current and former servicemen because they are the ones who TRULY get it?

On a lighter note, he's new here and doesn't know the public here like we do. He'll come around, unless you keep calling him names.
