Payment Options for Supporting Members
Is there another way besides Pay Pal to become a supporting member?
Some members may not like to have a their subscription automatically renewed.
According to the pay pal check out on our site it shows you have a choice to use Mastercard, Visa, Discover Card, or American Express.
Is that for credit cards only or can you use your debit card issued by your bank or can it be a debit cash (prepaid) gift card?
If you use your bank debit card does it have to have the Visa or Mastercard monogram on it, likewise for the cash debit card (prepaid)?
If a member prefers to make a payment each year without it being a recurring subscription can that be done?
Suppose they mailed you a check, M.O., or cashier check, you have no account to charge a renewal too. Well you still send out notification for a renewal?
A member has asked me and I thought it was a good question that others may want an answer too.
Thanks!
I'm not familiar with Pay Pal and neither is the member who asked me. Can you please explain how Pay Pal works?
Example:
Can you only deposit the exact amount or is there fees that may need to be considered?
Is there a waiting period or holding period to assure the funds are good?
Can you use a debit card to make a deposit to pay pal? (I don't even know if you make deposits or not).
Again, thank you for your time and explanation of how pay pal works and if there is another way to become a subscribing member.
P.S.
I think some member(s) maybe hesitant to use pay pal.Last edited by Roses; 04-22-06 at 04:43 PM.

A Smile
A smile cost nothing, but gives so much.
It enriches those who receive it,without making poorer those who give.It takes but a moment, but the memoryof it sometimes lasts forever.
None is so rich or mighty that hecan get along without it,and none is so poor but thathe can be made rich by it.
A smile creates happiness in the home, fosters goodwill in business, and is the countersign of friendship.
It brings rest to the weary, cheer to the discouraged, sunshine to the sad,and it is nature's best antidote for trouble.
Yet it cannot be bought, begged, borrowed,or stolen, for it is something that is of novalue to anyone until it is given away.
Some people are too tired to give you a smile.Give them one of yours, as none needs a smileso much as he who has no more to give.

If you have a debit card with a Visa or Mastercard logo, You can use it on PayPal. PayPal is very secure and much safer than sending a check or cash. It's also instant, so you can reap all the benefits of what you bought instantly.
You can cancel your renewal status at anytime through PayPal. It's just a built in conveineince.

Also if you're concerned enough about it, and dead set against using Paypal, Will or I can take your payment thru the (snail) mail. That way we can place it in our LEF account, and update your status without worries of automatic renewals.
Whomever wants to do it that way needs to PM Will or I.
