Albums
I'm having difficulty posting pics to my album area in my User CP area. I have created the album, gotten the message with the browse button and a message stating that I can post up to 60 pics. However, when I try to do so the screen just goes blank after I upload and nothing is shown in the album.
Help, pweese???

Are you attempting to load photos that are too large?

I don't think so, and it says that it will automatically resize any photo if it is too large. Not sure how to do it otherwise. Is there someway to link it to tinypic instead of uploading?

Actually sounds much like a connection problem, or file size causing a lockup. If the files you are attempting to load are too large (pictures are too high-resolution), then it could be that you can convert them to lower resolution before attempting to upload. If you are on a wireless or cellular broadband connection, you might be having upload problems because the files themselves are too large.

At last! A voice of reason....LOL
countybear, I have windows vista with windows picture gallery but I do all of my "cruising" online with Mozilla. Would I be able to convert them in picture gallery? Or can you suggest something better?
I really , really apreciate your assistance.

I'm not really familiar with Vista, you might be able to (by using "Save as" then changing the file type in the dropdown menu). I use a photo editor called "Gimp" which is somewhat similar to photoshop from Adobe (but its free). You can do just about anything with that program that photoshop will do, (mostly with regard to editing the photos themselves).
If you open the photo for editing (right click the icon and select "edit", windows will usually open the picture in "paint", but you can reformat (Save as...) the file to lower resolution bitmaps, jpegs, png's, etc.
Try opening one of your pictures in this way, convert it to another type of file, then check the file properties for a comparison of file sizes. Then test upload the smallest file size you come up with and see if that works.

Okay, countybear....I imported the pics to paint, resized them to below what was required and when I tried to upload, I just get a blank white screen.

When trying to create an album, I can browse & select the pic's I want. Then when I try to download them I get this:

Select the pictures one at a time. Your internet connection my not be strong enough to support uploading them all at once.

Let's be honest here. vBulletin has some nice features but the Dewey Decimal System would work better than the search feature here, and the "album" and picture uploading would work better with blind 12th century monks copying the images by hand.
