Subscribing to threads

How do I turn off the automatic thread subscription option? I can't find it anywhere.

Go to your "User CP", go to "Edit Options". Next page - second block down the page under "Messaging & Notification", in the "Default Thread Subscription Mode" there is a drop-down menu.

Click on "Do not subscribe". That should do it.
