I've gotten it a few times, too.
On another forum, it was a sign that the server was reaching it's limit... But if it's consistently Sunday (I haven't tracked the time) -- maybe it's just when the backup is running?Voting against incumbents until we get a Congress that does its job.

There is a little upgrading going on right now which can result in some short periods of downtime for the forums.
Whether or not this resulted in the datebase error you speak of...I have no idea. I'm not that gifted in the inner workings of the forums.
