Pretty Pictures

I don't see any subjects addressing this issue yet.....

How about allowing an image in member's signatures?

Try putting something with [IMG] [/IMG] tags on it.

i don't think it works in sig line

You cannot put pictures in your signature line. We can check into this, to see if we can do it.

Make sure if you do you limit size. This feature is annoying on some sites pics take up to much room!

It's an option/feature in your Admin Tools of vBulletin software.

The feature must be turned off right now.

Yeah that is obnoxious. Sometimes it's good to see pictures in threads, but not seeing the same picture over and over in someone's sig line. A simple link is sufficient, if people are interested they'll click it. Like mine :D

Yep, your right that we can turn off the view signature feature but I like to read the signature lines members have. So if I turn that feature off then I can't read the signature line anymore. Is that correct?

I'd rather have the option to click on a attached image in a members signature line if I choose to view it. As of now, I'm not aware of an option that will allow us to view just the words and not the pictures in the sig line. So I'll await to read the administrators comments to see if it can be done.

Just so you know, if you become a supporting member you can add a pretty profile picture to your profile along with your avatar. ;)

I agree if it can be done and you choose to allow us to display a picture in our signature line that you limit the size of the picture. I would still prefer to click on the image to view it if I choose too.

I wouldn't mind seeing a size limit for any picture posted in a thread. Some are way tooooooo big. They take forever to load on my computer and sometimes I don't have time to view it or I've already seen it and don't want to wait for it to load again just so I can post a comment.

I haven't been in a vBulletin Control Panel for a while, but I think you can turn off images in a signature, and still choose to read the text though.

The majority rules, so looks like images in signatures are not going to happen anyway. :doh:

I might be for it with pixel limitations..(short and wide). Once you load a certain image it should stay in your cache. The really annoying ones are the jackasses who put a full portrait picture after every post.
