Pretty Pictures
I don't see any subjects addressing this issue yet.....
How about allowing an image in member's signatures?

You cannot put pictures in your signature line. We can check into this, to see if we can do it.

05-21-06, 11:57 PM #7It's an option/feature in your Admin Tools of vBulletin software.

05-22-06, 01:03 AM #8Yeah that is obnoxious. Sometimes it's good to see pictures in threads, but not seeing the same picture over and over in someone's sig line. A simple link is sufficient, if people are interested they'll click it. Like mine

Just so you know, if you become a supporting member you can add a pretty profile picture to your profile along with your avatar.

A Smile
A smile cost nothing, but gives so much.
It enriches those who receive it,without making poorer those who give.It takes but a moment, but the memoryof it sometimes lasts forever.
None is so rich or mighty that hecan get along without it,and none is so poor but thathe can be made rich by it.
A smile creates happiness in the home, fosters goodwill in business, and is the countersign of friendship.
It brings rest to the weary, cheer to the discouraged, sunshine to the sad,and it is nature's best antidote for trouble.
Yet it cannot be bought, begged, borrowed,or stolen, for it is something that is of novalue to anyone until it is given away.
Some people are too tired to give you a smile.Give them one of yours, as none needs a smileso much as he who has no more to give.

05-22-06, 02:33 AM #11I agree if it can be done and you choose to allow us to display a picture in our signature line that you limit the size of the picture. I would still prefer to click on the image to view it if I choose too.

05-22-06, 07:46 AM #12I haven't been in a vBulletin Control Panel for a while, but I think you can turn off images in a signature, and still choose to read the text though.

I might be for it with pixel limitations..(short and wide). Once you load a certain image it should stay in your cache. The really annoying ones are the jackasses who put a full portrait picture after every post.
