What's the cap on "reputaiton" points here?
How high can a person go?

And where do I cash them in for money?
It is like poker chips, isn't it?

Their is no "cap" on reputation points. A member can go as high as potato.

Must be a cap? Several people have stopped at or shortly beyond 214,748,000.

That's an interesting theory. In the meantime, I see my rep has stopped at shortly over 214,748,000 now too. There must be a cap?

I'm not a rep slut, I've never asked for it or expected it, and I actually give it out rarely

I really like the system only because it gives me feedback on what people think of what I had to say, without them having to take the time to PM or post "+1" or "you suck Virgin!"

This whole rep thing is starting to irritate me. I agree people should be recognized when they come across with something good, but right now it gives the illusion that someone should be listened to more or they have more juice than someone with less rep. Got to be a better way to regulate this. I agree with the Mods on this one. It looks like people are inflating their reps with buddy boosts. Really wish people would grow up and let the rep thing be what it is meant to be. A measure of how your peers view you. All of your peers. Not a select few buddies.
