I found an animated .gif file I wanted to use as an an avatar, but when I upload it to this site, it is no longer animated. Is there something I'm not doing correctly? I've tried uploading it directly from my computer, as well as uploading it first to a website (tinypic.com) and posting the URL into the avatar option, but neither seem to work.
Maybe it is to large... Just a thought.
We allow pretty large avatars and there are animated avatars on this site. So keep trying. :o
We allow 80 x 80 pixels
Thanks for the help. I couldn't figure it out and still can't get it to work (I think the file size is too large when the image is animated), so I've found a worthy substitute featuring our Commander in Chief.
