LEF Shirt
Anyone want to have a LEF shirt made? Or is that inviting too much trollage?
-
06-12-06, 10:24 AM #2I think it's a great idea! Hey, whatever happened to the charity thingy?

Dunno, last I heard it was being discussed by the mods.

We've discussed it in the past. It's a do-able idea. But enough people would have to be on board with this, as bulk orders would have to be made.

Want me to throw a poll in the General section and see if people are interested? Or you can.

This would have been best put in the charity thread Virginian started, to avoid going off topic, but yes, it has been discussed, and in the not to distant future we plan on doing it. Just not at this time.

I think and LEF t-shirt would be cool. What would you put on it? I think the LEF logo would be a good idea if it's cool with the admins.

Maybe something different, just because it'll need to be a simple design. We can have a design contest!

Also might be good to make it something that looks like it supports law enforcement, but doesn't imply that the wearer is a police officer.

I would buy one if the design was nice and not too cheap looking. Something simple like the logo or simple 'LEF' on the left chest.

haha me neither, but I'm sure some of the knuckleheads on here can

Could even be just text, it's up to your skills. If you had some funny or cool lettering on it that could easily win. A lot of people prefer simplicity over artsy.

I was just thinking maybe it could be divided up between LEO's and civvies. Maybe put quotes on both, for the civilans put something supporting law enforcement, for the LEO's put something like LT's signature, I like it for some reason (yes I'm sucking up, but atleast I'm honest about it.)

Offer white or Black though. The only leo shirts I tend to buy are all black, Or if they aren't specific to le, grey or white. I tend to only buy black shirts though. must be a uniform requirement.

I'll work on the graphic, but I don't have time right now.

I think this would be a good idea, but to do it in conjunction with the charity would be a better idea. Now just because we would help a charity doesn't mean that the shirt has to be a "Support" shirt. Maybe funny, original, or something along those lines.
Just because your sign off after you're shift is done, doesn't mean that it's over and put blinders on. You're a cop 24/7 wether you like it or not. If thats something you can't handle, you should find a new line of work!
