I can't get "quick reply" to work to quote a post, and I don't show up as being in the chat room when it's only me in there.

The "Who's in chat" just seems to lag a few minutes. After being in there for a while it finally showed me.

Virginian, I've sat in there for -literally- hours before, and it still never shows me.

And Nite, I have my moments, but I'm not generally someone you want to bump into in a dark alley. Or on my REALLY good days, even in brightly lit alleys.

Why do you want Quick Reply to quote a post? The "Quote" button works and the full-featured editor is just as quick.

See? The "quote" button for quick reply doesn't work, and I can't get the quick reply to activate for a message, either. Yes, I can just hit Quote in the specific message, but it takes longer to load for me.

Basically, I'm lazy.

My Quick Reply works fine, it's just the "Quote Message in Reply" checkbox that doesn't work.

It worked for me, Ducky. My question is how does the system know which post you're quoting when you click on "Quote message in reply?" Can you tell I never use Quick Reply? Sorry I can't help.

OK, to clarify. I can use the actual "quick reply" box, but it doesn't allow me to hit the QR button on a post and reply just to that post. And that's where the "Quote message in reply" checkbox comes in.

And I sat in the chat room for over an hour last night, and it never showed me as being in the room in the main forum bar.

Nite, I'd say that's possible, but I post from other computers, too.

CRC... I already replaced the keyboard from having spilled water on it, so knock on wood. QUICKLY!

Now I get it! You're clicking on "QR" found in the lower right hand corner of the post you are replying too.

I thought you were referring to... oh never mind! It's been that kind of week!
