too many stickies
I don't really want to get rid of them, they are all very valid and important stickies, I just wish there was a means of consolidating them, put them in a clickable news ticker format or something. I mean I have to scroll halfway down the page to get to the new posts.

In General Topics there are way too many stickies.
First off, we have 2 Jenna threads stickied. Why?
Then we have a sticky for Star- who is a banned member. Why?
I also think some of the stickies that should be un-stickied are the T-shirt thread and the Police Beat article thread. Not that these didn't need to be stickied at one time, but they are past their prime.

Agreed. I know some of them are important, but I hate scrolling down so much just to get to the newer topics/posts. There are way too many, please clean them up!

I never really notice them unless they get bumped up, because I just click on 'new posts' rather than go to individual sections. There are a lot, though.

I agree with the consensus thus far. Stickies are good, but they can take up a lot of space at the top and can be overlooked.
I know there are some vbulletin addons that could clean things up a bit in terms of giving them a page of their own, so to speak. Not my site though.There are only two kinds of real justice left: street and poetic...

I've unstickied three threads from the General Topics section. Since General Topics is our most popular section in the public area, it will have the most stickies.
