While it is very clear that we are in an economic downturn / recession / whatever you choose to call it, I submit that the psychosocial ramifications of the inevitable cycle are being intensely manipulated by the mass (hysteria) media. The "terror" is being shoved down the throats of the minions, intensifying the reality....

Politicians love crisis, that way they can swoop in and make things worse......I mean save the day.
