When I was working drugs, my dept sent me to Miami on a case.... In August, of course

I damn near died.... The air was so humid and thick, I could hardly breath. I was there for three days and was more than ready to come home..... Not to mention, it was full of Colombians wearing lotsa gold, driving expensive cars, etc.

I was walking one night near the beach and a police car pulled over a BMW full of S. Americans. As soon as the car stopped, one of the wimmen bolted out of the car and started running towards me. I thought sure as hell the police were going to open up on her so I jumped behind a telephone pole. Turned out all she wanted was to ask me where a phone was. The cops didn't seem all that upset she ran out of the car...
