A must see! Black rappers Jay Z and Young Jeezy rap anti-white, anti-bush lyrics, braggin about there "nigga" Rresident, Obama
YouTube - Jay-Z My President is black Remix LIVE 1-18-09
It’s been a long time since much in hip-hop got me excited, but even the rap-averse among us will have a hard time not getting chills watching Jay-Z and Young Jeezy live at a recent concert, celebrating Obama becoming president with rhymes. Check out a mixed-race audience of young adults waving American flags while Young Jeezy proclaims “I’m so proud to be black right now!!!” mid-verse. (Warning: Contains some bad words rappers say so if you’re at work maybe wait til you get home).
Regardless of your political stance, its hard not to appreciate how unthinkable the moment where those two acts collided would have been just a few months ago. As would the following lines from Jay: “My president is black/in fact hes half white/So even in a racist mind hes half right/So if you got a racist mind its alright/ My president is black…. but his house is all white!!! Rosa Parks sat so Martin Luther could walk/ Martin Luther walked so Barack Obama could run/ Barack Obama ran so all the children could fly…”
How does this kind of shit help race relations?
The way I have seen some black people react to Obama's election is truly disheartening. There reaction has become one of arrogance and 'you can't touch me' attitudes, when we should all be celebrating and coming together. Did the election of a biracial President increase racial tension amongst blacks and whites?

That's classy. What some of these racist blacks may want to remember is that Obama would not have been elected if he hadn't garnered a significant portion of the white vote. If this kind of bullshit becomes widespread it could only hurt Obama in the future as arrogance can really be annoying.
SI VIS PACEM PARA BELLUM-Ex-Sheriff Martin Howe to Will Kane in "High Noon"
"It's a great life. You risk your skin catching killers and the juries turn them loose so they can come back and shoot at you again. If your honest , your poor your whole life. And , In the end , you wind up dying all alone on some dirty street. For what? For nothing. For a tin star."
Far from being a handicap to command, compassion is the measure of it. For unless one values the lives of his soldiers and is tormented by their ordeals , he is unfit to command.
