HR45, Anybody seen this?
I'm not going to cut and paste it, it's too long, but here's the link:
OpenCongress - Text of H.R.45 as Introduced in House Blair Holt's Firearm Licensing and Record of Sale Act of 2009
Bottom line is you will soon need a federal license to own a semi automatic pistol if this piece of shit passes. It doesn't say anything about new sales that I read, maybe I missed it. I read it as you have to have the license to OWN one. This one is way under the radar. When I used to be somebody (I'm center top)

It's been mentioned on Fox News a few times. Same with a state of IL proposal to require insurance on your guns. The insurance would need to cover theft, negligence, and intentional discharges which cause harm to another person. The problem? Only one insurance company insures firearms for theft and none cover negligence or intentional discharges. Obama's administration isn't going for a straight gun grab. They're going to make it impossible to own one, though. Especially if they get their 500% excise tax on firearms and ammunition passed.

Sadly, all my guns were lost in a tragic boating accident.

This is allegedly just the wet dream fancy of one man. That would be Bobby Rush (D-IL). You all know him. Some of the highlights of his career-
In 1968 Bobby Rush went AWOL from the US Army, co-founded the state's Black Panther Party and later was honorably discharged.
In 1969, Bobby Rush served six months in prison for illegal possession of firearms.
Now he’s a US Representative and he submitted this piece of crap. Currently the bill has no sponsors. It was sent to a subcommittee and it is widely thought it’ll die there.
But, it is still worth keeping an eye on it.
How does a convicted felon become a US Representative anyway?

Was Bobby Rush pardoned on Slick Willie's last day in office?? He is good friends with Clintons. Tried to check some on his background, nothing specific, like its been carefully laundered.........
