While I have no doubt the video accurately reflects the opinions our military has on the two presidents, it looks like Bush's speech was less formal (note President Bush wearing a short sleeve shirt) and Obama's was more formal (jacket and tie, media commentary, band).

Given the Marines proud history.....I have no doubt that they can spot a bullshitter at 500 paces. Barry just doesn't have what it takes to inspire such men.

In all fairness, that was President Bush in Iraq with the troops. While routinely dismissed by libtards as not carrying for the troops, indeed, he did and he had a special bond with those in the military who looked at him as having a spine. Disappointing there was not more done for the VA but much of that rests in the laps of the congress.

BO has already made it clear he wants to cut systems and people, not a good thing when your military sees itself in a protracted fight, even despite the desire to come home and regroup.

How many times did we see Bubba give either a half-assed salute or none at all to those good folks flying the birds (AF and USMC)? The one thing I inquired on was met with a resounding "YES" when I asked if Bush made a concerted effort to salute the military at the door.

We are and will see a repeat of those grim times that existed under the Bubba (which was when I served a chunk of my time). Watch for when we are depleated to a point that we will need a UN reaction force to assist us in getting a mission or objective done.
