What little I thought of Ventura was just lost...

I met him once when he was the governor of Minnesota. He came to my city for a book signing event and the officers provided security. While he was cool enough to sign individual books for each officer who worked, I still thought he was a tad nutty.
He's just getting nuttier every year. He must have been a hoot in in Minnesota.

"It's a great life. You risk your skin catching killers and the juries turn them loose so they can come back and shoot at you again. If your honest , your poor your whole life. And , In the end , you wind up dying all alone on some dirty street. For what? For nothing. For a tin star."
Far from being a handicap to command, compassion is the measure of it. For unless one values the lives of his soldiers and is tormented by their ordeals , he is unfit to command.

*wipes away a tear* Every day, I'm prouder and prouder of that douchbag Jesse and the idiots that elected him governor.
/sarcasm off
We have two major problems in our state:
1. The Twin Cities metro area is EXTREMELY liberal and that's where almost half of our population of 4 million plus lives.
2. The outstate farmers/miners have conservative social/fiscal values, but are VERY loyal to the DFL party and won't entertain the thought of voting for anyone other that a DFL or Independent party due to their union and farm subsidy promises.
The combined make it almost impossible for Republican or Conservative candidates to win our electoral votes or gain control of the state legislature. The views expressed in the above post are the sole opinion of the author and do not reflect any official position by the author's employer and/or municipality.

Do you have any respect for Bill Clinton?
Geez. Again here we have a person who should know better that doesn't. Mr. Ventura have you ever heard of the term corroboration? Just because someone tells you they did it doesn't mean they did. It simply gives you probable cause to pursue the investigation further.
Since this country is not good enough for you please feel free to return to Mexico. And stay there.Do not war for peace. If you must war, war for justice. For without justice there is no peace. -me

I seem to remember a truckbomb being detonated in the basement of an international trade building...
I seem to remember U.S. embassies being blown up in Tanzania and Kenya...
I seem to remember a gaping hole being blown in a warship, killing 17 and injuring 39...
I seem to remember something about hijacked planes full of innocent people being flown into buildings full of innocent people...
I seem to remember journalists and truckdrivers being kidnapped and beheaded...
I seem to remember that Al Qaeda captured POW's and burned them alive, dragging their corpses through the streets and hanging them from a bridge...
... and we're pissed off at our people for pouring water in their faces?
Fukketh themmeth, and everyone who thinks that way.
