Three advertisers drop Glenn Beck over his claim that President Obama is a ‘racist.’
Last week, Fox News host Glenn Beck called President Obama a “racist” with a “a deep-seated hatred for white people.” In response, ColorOfChange called on its members to tell Beck’s advertisers to drop his show over his race-baiting. ColorOfChange announced today that three advertisers have said that they are dropping Beck:
Three companies who run ads during Glenn Beck — NexisLexis-owned Lawyers.com, Procter & Gamble and Progressive Insurance — today distanced themselves from Beck. LexisNexis has pulled its advertising from Beck and says it has no plans to advertise on the program in the future. Both Procter & Gamble and Progressive Insurance called the Beck advertising placements an error that they would correct.
The decision by the three companies comes as over 45,000 ColorofChange.org members call on advertisers to pull their ads from Glenn Beck after the controversial news host called President Obama a “racist” who “has a deep-seated hatred for white people” on “Fox & Friends” last week

I don't think Glenn is worried. I don't know much about the other two companies but anything with the word Lawyer in it raises a red flag and insurance companies are just about as bad.
As for P&G, they are one of the biggest liberal whack job companies out there, in my opinion. Many years ago I was a security guard at a local plant here in town. We were treated like crap by most of the employees. Our boss / contact or what ever you want to call him would make policy and rules for us to follow and enforce for the employees there and whenever a conflict would arise he suddenly couldn't remember what rule or policy he changed and why were we acting this way. Then try to inflict holy hell on us. Like we were taking it upon ourselves to act this way. That is until we showed documents to him in writing with his signature on it. Then they closed their plant under the guise of reorganization. Albertson's Trucks recieved special treatment when weighing in at P&G's private scale. No wonder why they are out of business.
P&G also caters to non English speakers. Especially those who speak Spanish as their only language. Next time you buy one of their products, take a look at it. It is freaking Bi-lingual. Because the people they want to sell to can't be bothered to learn English. When I check their products in at work sometimes I have to turn the case around to get the proper English description. It gets annoying when there are so many different varieties and scents. They probably want to open the borders and let the illegals flood in.
I have also heard rumors that the P&G company itself are a bunch of Satanists. Because of the logo of moon and stars that they choose to use. Snopes says it's false.

Regardless, I can't stand P&G. Other than the fact that when we get one of their shipments in, it usually takes all day to process about 6,000 cases. Sometimes a day and a half. What the heck, job security, right? It sure keeps me busy though, and I like that. Though I try not to buy their products, if at all possible.

Try Geico Ins., during the hurricane disaster in the Keys Geico was one of the insurance companies to pay on the spot and their rates aren't bad. We have both our trucks and both our motorcycles through them and it isn't very expensive.
"this has not been a paid advertisement for Geico Ins" LMAO!
My dad, I miss him every day.

Boo hoo. Beck has sold enough books that he is not sitting in the poor house. Tack on a successful radio show with plenty of advertisers and the show goes on. Pretty classic dance step. Anyone remember O'Donnel and KMart?

I've had State Farm since 1980. Never had a reason to switch. All those "lower quotes" look good until you realize that the coverage and exclusions don't quite sync up.

All of my insurance save the motorcycle is through AAA. Best rate ever - my wife works there.
Only reason the motorcycle isn't through them is they contract with Progressive anyways, so I cut out the middleman and saved $40 a year.I'm your huckleberry...
