That piece of turd does not deserve the title of Major. Doesn't the military strip your title while you are being investigated? I know for police, they can take away your badge and peace officer status while you are being investigated for certain heinous crimes.

Upon his conviction, he will be demoted to E-1.

Before that, removal of rank does not occur.

In order to fall under the UCMJ, he has to be in the military.

So, in order to kill him, he has to be in.

In order to keep him in, they reduce him to the lowest rank there is. E-1.

He isn't going to actually die anyhow, because the President must approve a military death sentence. The guy we have in office won't do it.

I'm surprised Hasan hasn't been exonerated of all charges, promoted to Lieutenant General and the FBI finds some right-wing fallguys to take the blame for the whole thing while Dopebama apologizes for America again for even thinking that Hasan could have done such a heinous act.

How about we send him a Christmas ham with a force feeding order. And we pagans on the board can donate the yule bonfire. He may not be able to feel anything from the nipples down, but second degree burns hurt like a mother. I suspect with judicious application of fire and alcohol we can make him hurt enough for his heart to give out.
