Court blocks Oklahoma anti-Sharia law at behest of Hamas-linked CAIR
Court blocks Oklahoma anti-Sharia law at behest of Hamas-linked CAIR
Utter bullshit. Now, according to this Fed Judge, the "Law of the Land" isn't law if it interferes with someones religion.
Does this dip shit mean that, in the name of Religion, I can beat my wife, and not be asrested for Criminal Demostic Violance/Assault?

I wonder what law the federal judge is interepting to come to this conclusion?

I was not aware that the first amendment allowed one individual to cause bodily harm to another individual.

Using this thought pattern, I wonder if Rastafarians can now use marijuana in their religious practice without fear of prosecution?

I've heard speculation that the judge granted the injuction because the DA didn't file a brief. But this is so absurd that the judge should have just thrown it out. It's incredibly scary that there had to be a law to prevent implementation of Sharia law to begin with.

a law didn't have to be passed to prevent the implementation of Sharia...that's the point of a lot of people here. No one can name one single solitary instance where a judge in Oklahoma went with a Sharia interpretation of law rather than one that aligned itself with State law. This was, by far, the biggest waste of time for the voters in Oklahoma. All it did was serve to further stoke the fires of racism and anti-Islamic hatred. I'm not the only Oklahoma voter that feels this way...
