I think it's a fantastic idea...always have. Of course, I also think they should get mandatory Depo as well. LOL Chances it'll happen are slim to none though.

A great idea that will never happen. It makes too much sense.
For the morning will come. Brightly will it shine on the brave and true, kindly upon all who suffer for the cause, glorious upon the tombs of heroes. Thus will shine the dawn.

I have to be able to pass a drug screen for the privilege of working for my paycheck, they damn sure should be required to pass one for getting an allowance from Uncle Sugar. My company uses pop quizzes too - surprise random drug screening. I see no problem whatsoever showing up with at least the spit test kit and surprise inspections for those who suckle off the government's teat for a living. Big screen TVs, luxury automobiles, and other obvious signs of welfare abuse would qualify the case for some serious scrutiny and suspension of benefits. Make them work for their goodies.

I'd include Unemployment benefits in that too, which at over 100 weeks sounds like welfare to me.

Don't forget the designer clothes and "accessories".
At the very least the food stamp/EBT system needs to only include specified foods like the WIC program. This still would not stop them from using their food stamps/EBT to purchase and then peddle for cash on the street.
