As an Iraq War veteran, I have to echo the sentiments expressed by Doris Kent in John Stark's article about the death of Osama bin Laden. We are supposed to be a nation of justice and of laws, but instead of capturing, trying and executing Osama bin Laden, we just start shooting.

I liked Woodsman's comment in the article:
The title of the letter reads "Shooting bin Laden was a failure". I have to disagree - from all reports it would appear that the shooting was a complete success. 'Failure' would have been shooting at him and missing.Verified Libra- There sure are a lot of people born in August around here.
